How to Roleplay on Nectar AI

Nectar AI is without doubt one of the best NSFW chatbots on the naughtiest corners of the World Wide Web.

I mean, a library with hundreds of roleplay scenarios, in-chat images, AND the ability to bring your own fantasy to life?!

Sign me up.

But knowing how to roleplay on Nectar AI is essential if you want to make the most out of it. In this Nectar AI tutorial, I’ll be covering a step-by-step instruction on how to roleplay on Nectar AI like a pro.

As a bonus, I will throw in two additional bonus tips you won’t find anywhere else on the internet. So be sure to stick with me to the end. 😉

Step-by-Step Instructions for Roleplaying on Nectar AI

In the next section, I am taking you on a journey through Nectar AI’s roleplay feature. Just follow along with the steps and you will be a roleplay samurai in no time.

Step 1: Select Your Roleplay Scenario

This is the easiest part, select one of Nectar AI’s many fantasies. You can pick an official fantasy which has popular ones like ‘late rent payment’ or you can opt for a Community fantasy which has more variety.

• Once you select your Nectar AI roleplay scenario, click on it.

This will give you a brief overview of the roleplay story so you know what to expect.

• Click on Start

Step 2: The Opening Message

Nectar AI separates background information from responses by making the text darker. In the screenshot below, you can see how it works. The text says:

and

is colored grey and provides background information, while the white text “Hi, Mr. Anon” is an actual response.

Depending on the Necter AI roleplay scenario, your AI character may send the first message.

Step 3: Start Talking

From here on forward, you can simply start talking about anything you want (just make sure it is safe, legal and doesn’t go against the Nectar AI content policy).

One thing you should know is that you can use asterisks (*) or ellipses (…) to give background information as well. For example:

This gives more depth to the conversation but it is completely optional.

Step 4: Regenerating a Response

During your Nectar AI roleplay session, you might receive a response that you don’t like or wish you wouldn’t have said something differently.

In both cases, Nectar AI has a solution which is called regenerating responses.

• To regenerate a response, look for the 🔄 button on the bottom right of a text bubble and click on it.

• To edit a message you sent, look for the pencil icon on the bottom left of your text bubble and click on it.

• Edit the message to your liking and click Enter on your keyboard to confirm.

Nectar AI only allows you to edit and regenerate the most recent messages which is a bummer since most other AI girlfriend apps don’t have this limitation.

Step 5: Generate In-Chat Photos

In-chat images are a great way to make your AI roleplay experience more immersive. Often, the images you generate are a reflection of your roleplay scenario. So in the example I showed you previously, the AI character was chilling on the couch. If I generate a photo it will most likely be in the living room if not on the couch.

• Click on the image button in the bottom right corner.

You can select ‘Send me a photo’ to receive a picture instantly or opt for ‘Send me a photo of’ to add an extra request to your prompt (e.g. send me a photo of you on the couch).

If you click on ‘Generate photos’ you will be redirected to the image generator.

• Select your image request and click on it.

2 Tips for EPIC Nectar AI Roleplay Sessions

The Nectar AI roleplay tutorial above should cover all the basics but if you want to go the extra mile then have a look at some of the tips I discovered.

Tip 1: Use Nectar AI in Your Native Language

Just like Character AI, you can use OOC commands. In plain English, OOC stands for ‘out of character’ and it allows you (the user) to give specific commands to your AI chatbot that have nothing to do with the roleplay.

One OOC command that is particularly helpful is the one below which allows you to use Nectar AI in other languages:

Spanish:

[console: desde ahora hablaras 100% en español, comienza respondiendo entiendo para comenzar la conversacion en español]

You can switch the Spanish part to German, Chinese, Japanese, or whatever language you want to roleplay in.

Tip 2: Use Narrate, Look and Describe

Using Narrate, Look, and Describe is really helpful if you are roleplaying with an AI character that sends short responses.

My Final $0.02 about nectar aI

Roleplaying on Nectar AI is as easy as 1, 2, 3 once you get the hang of it. I personally struggled a bit in the beginning because I didn’t know what to say and the roleplay would often die. That’s why I recommend picking one of the official fantasies first. 

Often, these are better prompted and have a clear storyline so you can just go with the flow without thinking too much.
