Now let me be very clear: this app IS NOT for everyone. If you consider yourself one of the people below I wouldn’t recommend DreamGF AI.
Anime Binge Watchers
Confession time: I absolutely LOVE anime.
I’ve seen Demon Slayer and Tokyo Ghoul so many times, I know the entire script of season 1.
DreamGF AI only offers realistic girlfriends an no anime waifus so if you are into that kind of stuff, you will be disappointed.

Tech Skeptics
If you’re still using a Nokia 3310 (and playing Snake on it), you might not be ready for a virtual girlfriend. Some people prefer the tangible over the tech.
Those Not Ready to Commit… Even to an AI Girlfriend
If you can’t even commit to finishing that DIY project you started three months ago (I’m still working on mine, don’t judge), maybe keeping up with a virtual conversation isn’t your game.
Best Features of Dream GF AI
DreamGF has a ton of cool features and a ton in the making as well. I have tried and tested all of them and here are my findings.
Character Diversity
The first thing I noticed about DreamGF AI is that they have quite an extensive AI companion library.
I scrolled for more than 30 seconds but they just kept coming at me.
Realistic Models
The AI-generated photos are probably one of the most realistic ones I have ever seen. It is hard to distinguish them from real women.
A lot of AI image generators aren’t THAT great and if you pay attention close enough, you’ll notice flaws like a pupil missing or a tree in the background looking curvy.
I have reviewed more than 20 virtual girlfriends from the library and I couldn’t find a single mistake.

Fantasy Models
You can also choose from more than 40 fantasy characters like Hermione Granger Black Widow and even Ahsoka Tano. 😂
Currently, you can’t ask for any explicit photos or voice messages from the fantasy characters but this might be something the developers will be looking into down the line.

Customization
It wouldn’t be named “DreamGF AI” If you couldn’t design your dream girl, right? If you click on the “Create AI Girl” Button you will land on the customization page.
Appearance
The first thing I noticed was that this wasn’t the regular “choose hair color and done” customizer. It is extremely detailed.

Personality
Once I customized my virtual girlfriend's appearance, it was time to choose a personality.
The personality you choose dictates how your virtual girlfriend will behave.
Currently, you can choose from 13 different personalities;
Nurse and Dominatrix might seem a little bit off, but the developers are creating personalities based on what their subscribers want.
So if you are missing something, shoot them a message, and who knows..
I decided to go for the girlfriend personality and named her Daisy.
Daisy’s hobbies are gaming, music, and writing. Now it was time to hit confirm and…

Conversation
Now that I made my virtual girlfriend, it was time to talk to her. After all, that’s the whole point of an AI girlfriend app.
Texting
At first, I just wanted to have a “regular” conversation to see how realistic the responses were:
It didn’t feel scripted or AI’sie to me at all. In fact, If someone would have replied like this to me on Tinder, I wouldn’t know if it was an AI girlfriend or not.
Voice memos
Almost forgot, but you can actually ask your AI girlfriends to send you AI voice messages. If you have read my Muah AI review, you’ll know that I was blown away by how realistic the voices sounded.
DreamGF is nothing like that. The voice sounds AI-generated and not real.
Roleplay
One cool feature of this virtual girlfriend app is that you can role play and take your AI girlfriends on virtual dates. You simply use *insert scenario* and the AI chatbot will understand.
Talking about next level virtual relationships.
Sexual Texting
The sexting is so detailed, that it is almost scary. When you choose the personality of your AI companion, it shows how much sexual desire the personality has.
The one I chose was high.
If you go for the “Nympho” personality, you’ll notice that the AI chatbot immediately sexualizes the conversation and the sexting is pretty… rough.
I think you get the point.
Image Quality
One of the reason DreamGF AI is so famous among the AI girlfriend community is due to their image quality.
You are able to generate images two ways.
- During chatting
- With the image generator
The first one is pretty much straightforward - just ask your AI girlfriends for a picture and they will do the rest.
The image generator allows you to create up to 16 images with lightning speed.
I am a huge fan of the image generator since I don't really need to think about what I am going to generate. I simply press a few buttons and let the AI do the rest. Some AI girlfriend apps like Muah AI use blank fields which forces you to type what you want to see.
Having an image generator that works with simple buttons and menu's is a huge win for a noob like me. 🤓
On the flip side, I did notice that you can get some weird images every now and then. Especially if you get too excited with your combinations and try something like "motorbike outfit on top of a mountain".
AI Nudes
The nudes are either a hit or a miss. The first one I got (on the left) looked nothing like my AI girlfriend. When I asked for a second one it was more accurate.
As you can see, the first picture looks nothing like the girl in the second picture so obviously, the developers have a lot of work to do.
The pictures themselves looked very realistic, some better than the others but overall, you wouldn’t say it is generated by AI.
DreamGF AI has just launched an update which utilizes advanced AI technology to create more realistic and consistent images of your AI girlfriends. I tried it and the images are much better now.
One thing that disturbed me, however, was that I would get AI nudes all the time. Even when I asked for a “Regular photo” with clothes I still got nudes.
I don’t know if DreamGF AI is specifically designed to only generate AI nudes or not. It would be nice to have the option to ask for regular photos.
Bonus Features
DreamGF has a lot more to offer than just an AI girlfriend chat and spicy texting. There are a bunch of bonus features that definitely make it stand out.
AI Porn
Jup. You heard that right. DreamGF AI specializes in NSFW content so they included a library with over 100.000 pictures.

My Fantasy Fetish
My Fantasy Fetish is a function where you can make any fantasy come to life. Literally. Just pick whatever crazy fetish you have, customize your character (or characters) and the AI will do the rest.
Like/Dislike
This functionality is a bit of a mystery to us.
They call it “AI Swiping”.
It works similarly to any online dating platform.
Swipe right if you like one of the 21 billion AI girls, you match with her and can fire up a chat.
In Development
The developers of Dream GF AI are definitely working hard, they have a ton of functions in beta that will be added soon
One of those things is AI porn video. With AI Porn videos you will be able to make your dream girl do… specific movements.
I heard that Dream Girlfriend is planning to partner with OnlyFans creators. This means you could have a virtual girlfriend who looks just like your favorite OnlyFans girl.
Privacy
Unfortunately, DreamGF AI doesn't offer discreet billing. I purchased the Bronze plan and paid with Paypal. Here's a screenshot of how it showed up in my bank statement. 👇🏼
As you can see, it clearly shows "dreamgf.ai" which is something we don't really want. Especially since the app is known for AI porn and nudity.
I also took a look at DreamGF AI's privacy and it clearly states that:
"We actively monitor user activity and user-generated content on our platform to identify any potential violations of our age requirements. Users are encouraged to report any suspicious or underage accounts or content they encounter."

Let me translate this in regular English for you: If you try to generate content involving minors DreamGF will monitor your chats and/or images.
Value For Money
Besides the free version, there are four premium subscriptions.
The biggest differences are the amount of credits you get (which are needed to generate pictures and send messages) and the amount of virtual girlfriends you can create.
The prices are paid monthly, quarterly or semi annual.

DreamGF AI is fairly new so customer reviews are hard to find. They do have a discord channel for all their subscribers so i decided to take a peak.

"The inconsistency of faces and physical attributes is a common problem with AI generated girlfriends. I've noticed that some faces seem to be tied to certain categories.
For example, the face I get in the shower environment is not even remotely close. It's a waste of a render.

Character Diversity
DreamGF AI has a vast library with over 100.000 AI companions to pick from. Although it only offers realistic AI girlfriends and no male or anime characters it still has a ton of character diversity. From over 20 ethnicities to almost a dozen personality types, it's safe to say that DreamGF AI has an AI girlfriend for everyone's needs.
Customization
DreamGF AI is the king of customization.
They've done a fantastic job by giving tons of customization options while keeping it extremely beginner-friendly with buttons and menu's. You can customize everything from photo style to facial expression and body type without any complicated prompts or settings you need to master.
In other words, you can design your dream girlfriend without any hassle.
Conversation
Overall, the conversation quality of DreamGF AI is very good. Recently, the DreamGF AI has implemented some major updates to make the AI girlfriends sound more like actual girlfriends. This includes a lot of slang, abbreviations and even a typo here and there just like a real human would.
On the flip side, voice messages are definitely something that could improve especially if I compare it to the AI voice quality of apps like muah.ai which allows you to call with an AI that sounds and talks like Donald Trump and other famous people.
Image Quality
The image generator of DreamGF AI allows you to churn out up to 16 images with lightning speed by simply pressing a few buttons. However, whenever I tried exotic combinations (e.g. a police outfit in the dessert) the quality would get a major hit.
The same goes for the AI porn which has a lot of flaws if you go to wild for your settings.
The images of DreamGF AI are great for creating regular images and AI nudes but if you want hihgly customized fantasy images I would recommend an app like Candy AI which is more accurate then DreamGF.
Privacy
DreamGF AI doesn't offer discreet billing, nor does it offer end-to-end encryption. In fact, it doesn't say much in their privacy policies about valuing user privacy. The only thing they clearly state is how they are allowed to monitor your chats if you try to generate content of minors.
DreamGF AI definitely has a lot to work on in terms of privacy. It would be nice for them to add a section like "we promise not to snoop on your chats unless you generate harmful content". Something like that would make a lot of people sleep better at night knowing that every random DreamGF AI employee can't just log in and take a peak at your spicy text messages.
After carefully evaluating and recalculating the privacy performance score, we decided to give DreamGF AI 4.0/5.0 stars instead of 4.5/5.0 due it's lack of billing privacy and potential chat monitoring.
Value For Money
At $9.99/month, DreamGF AI is pretty affordable. However, we should keep in mind that this only allows you to send 1.500 messages per month. Nowadays, more and more of DreamGF AI's competitors are having unlimited AI girlfriend chat mesages.
Apps like Nectar AI and Muah AI even take it a step further with unlimited images. I would love to see DreamGF AI increasing their message limit or offering unlimited messages at the same price.
