Ban and Elaine from Seven Deadly Sins are like that couple you can't help but root for.
Elaine's this sweet fairy who was guarding the Fountain of Youth when Ban, the immortal Fox Sin of Greed, came along.
He was all about stealing the fountain's water at first, but then Elaine showed up and they ended up falling hard for each other.
It's a real tragic love story, though, 'cause Elaine died protecting Ban and the forest.

Who is the best waifu you ask? Well, if it was upto me I would say Zero Two.
She and Hiro from Darling in the Franxx are like that epic couple from your favorite Hollywood flick.
They're partners in crime, fighting against Klaxosaurs and dealing with all sorts of wild stuff.
Zero Two is the outgoing and kinda wild one with a rebellious streak, while Hiro is more down-to-earth and determined.
They've got this crazy history where they met as kids, but then Zero Two got her memories wiped, and Hiro didn't recognize her when they met again.
These two are a rollercoaster of emotions and action.
Zero Two's is actually a monster because she's part Klaxosaur (some kind of alien) and just wants to be a regular human with her Darling – that's Hiro, by the way.
And Hiro?
He's just trying to keep up and figure out his own feelings.
They start off a bit rocky, with Zero Two being super flirty and Hiro bashful, but they click when they plot their FRANXX together.

Apparentely, you die in real life if you die in the game.
Asuna and Kirito develops some badass warrior skills.
Asuna has a very caring nature, and Kirito becomes extremely protective of Asuna.
The anime series is filled with life lessons and cool quotes and their love is intense and all-consuming; they literally can't live without each other.

I am not really fond of medieval anime, but this one has a special place in my heart.
Sypha and Trevor from Castlevania"are like that couple who start all wrong but end up just right.
She's a powerful, no-nonsense mage with cute red hair, and he's a rough-around-the-edges vampire hunter.
At first, Sypha can't stand Trevor; she thinks he's just a rude, drunken mess.
But then, they start traveling together, fighting side by side, and things change.
They're both outcasts and that brings them closer.
They start off throwing sarcastic jabs, but soon they're sharing blankets and become a mega cute... something?
You see, they're not 'officially' anything, but they're definitely more than just friends.

The story starts with Masamune HATING Aki (aka the brutal princess) for dumping him as a child.
Masamune dedicates the next decade to become SHREDDED and an absolute chad so he can take the ultimate revenge ...
Seducing Aki and dumping her.
Eventually, Masamune feels sorry for Aki and confesses he was trying to seduce her just so he could dump her.
Long story short, they end up falling in love and they become one of the cutest waifu and husbando in the existence of anime.

If you’ve read my post on anime girlfriend types, you probably know that Aki is a Mayadere - someone who starts as the bad guy but ends up as the hero.
It’s heartwarming and wholesome to see something like that and a reason to put Aki and Masamune on the best waifu and husbando list!

#1 Taiga Aisaka & Ryūji Takasu (Toradora!)
Most Shonen anime are overhyped.
Toradora! Is nothing like that.
The show starts with Ryūji who finds a love letter that Taiga had written to this boy in their class.
Taiga, the typical Tsundere that she is then goes to Ryūji’s house with a sword to kill him.
If that ain’t love, I don’t know what is.
So, basically, the whole thing with Toradora is about Ryūji and Taiga trying to hook each other up with their crushes, but they're totally blind to the fact that they're actually into each other.
It starts with Taiga giving Ryūji a hard time by constantly hitting him.
But as they hang out more, she starts to chill out and warm up to him. Before you know it, BOOM they're not just friends – they're a couple.
They even fake being married to keep Taiga's parents from taking her away. It's a bunch of wild and funny stuff mixed with some really cute moments.
I know it sounds like your typical cringe-worthy anime cliché, but believe me when I say that they end up as one of the best waifu and husbando in history.
